In 1967, doubting the skills of Vick Elford, Huschke von Hanstein lent him his Porsche 911 R for the first ever official rallycross competition at the famous Lydden Circuit in Lydden Hill. He repaid his genius victory! And the photo of its crimson Porsche 911 R is forever in the history of motorsport!

    I believe this was the Porsche GB demonstrator car, not Hushke von Hanstein’s personal car.
